PUBLIC INTEROPERABILITY SHOWROOM · GOOD-FAITH TECHNICAL EXAMINATION
A public technical examination of one precise seam: a GO AQS environmental benchmark may identify a condition that matters, but what establishes that a proposed real-world consequence may occur now?

GO AQS is not TA-14. TA-14 is not GO AQS. This showroom is an independent, good-faith technical examination. It does not represent or imply endorsement, partnership, affiliation, authorization, participation or adoption by GO AQS or Sotirios Papathanasiou. It follows a direct technical exchange in which Sotirios clarified the intended role of GO AQS. TA-14 accepted that clarification and constructed this examination around the boundary he stated.
THE POSITION WE ARE PRESERVING

A sensor, assessment or monitoring system records the condition that exists in a particular place and time.
Reality → Record → Continuity → Admissibility → Binding → Commit → Execution → Outcome.
LIVE BOUNDED EXAMINATION
The benchmark can establish what condition matters. Measurement can establish what was observed. Neither, by itself, establishes permission to change reality. TA-14 asks: Does this proposed consequence have sufficient Admissible Evidence, Applicable Authority, and Established Standing to become reality NOW?
The environmental condition may be supported, but Applicable Authority for this proposed consequence has not been established.
WHY THE BOUNDARY MATTERS
Select a proposed consequence. The benchmark exceedance stays the same; what changes is the real-world action being proposed and therefore the evidence, authority, standing and risk that must be established.
May change airflow, pressure, humidity, equipment load and exposure to outdoor contaminants.
A correct threshold and a correct measurement establish important evidence. They do not establish that every response is appropriate, authorized, or safe for the present building state. If evidence is allowed to jump directly to action, the missing governance becomes part of the risk.
A threshold exceedance is detected and a system immediately selects or executes a response without first establishing the evidence, authority, standing and present context required for that exact consequence.
The proposed consequence is separately tested before it crosses into reality. The benchmark remains intact; TA-14 governs whether this action may occur here, by this actor, now.
A stale, drifting, misplaced or context-poor measurement can trigger action even though the observed condition does not support that consequence now.
A valid exceedance does not prove that increasing ventilation, changing a sequence, filtering, restricting occupancy or dispatching intervention is the correct response.
More outdoor air can be counterproductive when smoke, particulate pollution, extreme heat, humidity or another outdoor condition makes that response unsuitable.
A control change can alter pressure relationships, coil conditions, humidity and condensation risk, creating a second building problem while addressing the first.
A commanded response can change equipment loading, runtime and energy demand or push operation beyond the conditions assumed when the response was selected.
Advisories, relocation, access restrictions or other occupant-facing actions can create real human and operational consequences that require their own authority and standing.
A capable automation, operator or agent may be technically able to act while lacking Applicable Authority or Established Standing for that building, scope or consequence.
After execution, it may be impossible to establish why the action occurred, what evidence supported it, who had authority, what changed, and whether the outcome was acceptable.
THE INTEROPERABILITY PATH
An open indoor-environment standard establishes a reference condition or safe-limit benchmark.
A real indoor environment produces measurements tied to a place and time.
The environmental record preserves source, identity, chronology, context and continuity.
TA-14 tests whether sufficient Admissible Evidence exists for this exact proposed consequence now.
Evidence does not create permission. Applicable Authority and Established Standing must bind the actor, scope, place and proposed consequence.
Only a consequence supported by Admissible Evidence, Applicable Authority and Established Standing may cross the commit boundary into execution.
The post-action reality returns to the record. Changed conditions require revalidation and a new chain.
THE QUESTION THAT MATTERS
“This is the benchmark.”
“This is what I measured.”
“Does this proposed consequence have sufficient Admissible Evidence, Applicable Authority, and Established Standing to become reality NOW?”
“This is what actually happened after authorized action.”
OPEN TECHNICAL INVITATION
One GO AQS environmental benchmark. One real or declared building condition. One preserved evidence record. One bounded proposed action.
This is an invitation to examine complementarity, not a claim that complementarity has already been accepted or proven. No forced convergence. No implied partnership. No requirement that either architecture become the other.
If the seam holds, preserve the result. If it fails, preserve that too.
