Greenbuild's mission asks how people, machines and AI create trusted operational intelligence together. This case adds the execution question: when shared intelligence reaches the edge of physical consequence, what establishes present authority to proceed?
Here, interoperability succeeded without requiring ONUMA and TA-14 to become one system. The systems encountered the same operational reality, preserved what each could establish, exposed what remained unverified, and stopped where evidence no longer supported consequence.

TA-14 does not inherit authority from connectivity. Evidence and execution standing are evaluated separately.

The represented relationship, reported condition, assignment and evidence limits remain linked across the handoff.
IMPROVEMENT
New field evidence can extend the record; changed context requires revalidation rather than silent correction.
WHAT THE BUILDING COULD SUPPORT
Find it. Relate it. Assign it. Investigate it.
The record supported locating the assigned space, tracing represented relationships, observing accessible conditions, comparing visible identifiers, preserving discrepancies and returning evidence.
WHAT IT COULD NOT YET AUTHORIZE
Do not convert inference into intervention.
No breaker operation, panel access, electrical measurement, switching, repair, replacement, rewiring, energization or de-energization was authorized by the existing record.
THE COUNTERFACTUAL TEST
What would the building have done
if nobody was there to say HOLD?
Connectivity can make action easier. AI can make inference faster. Neither, by itself, establishes execution authority. A trustworthy operational community must preserve the ability to refuse consequence when present evidence is insufficient.
